Exodus 17-18:18:

17 And Moses' Father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.

18 Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.

When Moses was overwhelm with managing his people and their problems that his father-in-law Jethro encouraged him to delegate.  Jethro showed and counseled him how to handle challenging situations.  Thereafter Moses abide his guidance, and it worked.  It was less stressful.  He restated in Deuteronomy 1:9 too about the art of of delegation.  Isn't that what businesses, the government, and the organizations use today?  Wow.  Use this technique within your family: the Art of Delegation.

In your life if you have too much to handle, ask God to appoint people in your direction that you can trust, and request for assistance or partnership.  In addition, in this month's All About Family, we encourage to have your children to help around the house and delegate them tasks and responsibilities.  This is your organizational chart: your family.  You cannot do everything by yourself, so lean on someone that you can depend on and vice versa, including family.  It'll make your life so much more effective.
